Content Curation

I get asked a lot about how I come up with and organize my content for each client and their social media platforms. The simple answer is that I plan out each client’s content weekly. Then I execute it daily, making adjustments as things come up or as necessary.

However, I do far more than just make a plan. I spend time each Monday morning brainstorming the content for every post for every client for that week. Brainstorming includes the type of post (i.e. an infographic, imagery, video or articles with links), the copy, the hashtags, the timing, the goal for the post and considering what has been published previously. Once done I create the graphics and copy for the posts one day ahead and schedule them through Hootsuite to ensure the timing manifests the most engagement. Friday Fact_ (21)

Content curation is a massive part of what I do. Making sure that your content is well thought out and planned out is the key to growing your social media presence and engagement. Tools like a content calendar and organization are all necessary to ensure that you get the most out of every post. Taking the time to understand what your audience wants to see and interact with is time well spent. That is why I do what I do because I know that small business owners do not always have the time to spend on careful content curation let alone consistent posting. So, if you are interested in seeing how I can help you grow your social media presence, send me a message!
