Timing

You have probably heard that the timing of your posts on social media is essential, butpexels-photo-179909 what does that mean? How do you apply this tactic? Why does it matter?

When it comes to reaching your audience on social media, it is important to consider the time of day you post. Luckily, Facebook tells you when most people are visiting your page each day. Looking at this and reevaluating regularly is vital to the success of each post and encouraging engagement and ultimately sales.

For example, if you have a product or service, it is likely that people will be looking for and acting on your posts when they have time to consider buying into what you are selling. So, based on your information from Facebook you can determine when to post. It is likely that the best times would be around the lunch hour, 2-3pm when people are taking a break, or the evening after dinner time.

By posting at the appropriate time, you are helping to place your content and business in front of your target market at the time when they are most likely to buy. While you may reach them at other times, it simply makes the most sense to get in front of them when they are already there. So, take a look at your business and try to change up the time in which you post. This small change could be the difference in a sale versus a like.
